Jumpzone History

From Flex to Fly

Jumpzone bungy trampoline history
FlexnFly Leisure UK was born from the meeting of three Englishmen in Sydney, Australia in January 2000.

Simon McKellar and Andrew Sinclair were taking an extended break having spent many years living and working in Japan when, through a mutual friend, they met Iain Etridge.

Iain had been living in Sydney for three years and was now running a new 'stellar' entertainment attraction - the bungy trampoline - sited at two locations in Sydney.

The sites couldn't come with a better pedigree. They were Fox Studios, Rupert Murdoch's new state-of-the-art entertainment facility and Sega World at Darling Harbour.

The bungy trampoline was and still is a huge success at both sites to such an extent that Sega World actually custom-built a jetty to house the operation.

Upon hearing about this new 'star attraction' we decided to go and see what all the fuss was about. The rest is history!
